What is LASIK?

LASIK is short for “laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis” - the technical name for the most effective way to correct the three most common vision problems: nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism. We understand that the decision to have LASIK is a big one financially, but we are confident you will be happy with your results. As with any surgical procedure, there are associated costs, and because LASIK is an elective procedure it is not typically covered by insurance. We are happy to offer LASIK financing through CareCredit, which offers no-interest financing options for up to 24 months.
