My appointment was set up by my neurologist, trying to diagnose why my left eye went blind for a two minutes a couple months ago, I have gone through all the medical tests, brain MRI, carotid artery scan, echo, wearing a heart monitor for 30 days now Tri-State Ophthalmology ran several tests, dr came in, he had already read through my entire health history, let me know that the eyes were in good shape but he was very concerned that the temporary blindness was caused by small piece of plaque that had come loose from the carotid arteries and got lodged (like stroke) and this was very serious. I contacted my neurologist the next day, theyre setting me up with an appointment with an vascular surgeon for his opinion.The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. The dr was also very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. The appointment time, waited maybe 5 minutes everything took about an hour, but they ran several tests. I highly recommend them!
